Re-vive, Re-use, Re-color
Studio& designed a tactile publication to visualize the concept behind the collection Re-vive by Studio Rens for Tarkett. Through a manual dyeing process applied to out-of-date collections, the carpets are re-colored with red dye, giving them a new life. Textured organic paper with natural imperfections corresponds to the concept of used carpets, which bear their own imperfections. A red cotton thread binding reflects the overall theme of dyeing yarns red. To consistently convey the idea of Re-vive throughout the content, we devised chapter titles that play on the 're-' prefix: Re-vive, Re-invent, Re-colour, Re-dye, Re-use, Re-new, and Re-sult.
