The Art of Interior Design
Hedda Pier is an interior designer with a passion for art, architecture and craftsmanship. Her youth spent in France, Africa and the United Kingdom, and an innate appreciation and knowledge of iconic design and influential art movements, enable her to craft and maintain a strong, unique, creative vision throughout each project her studio takes on. When designing the identity for Hedda Pier, we looked at what drives her and where her passion as an interior designer comes from. Her work showed a strong emphasis on craftsmanship and diverse cultural influences. She also has a love for art and painting. In her paintings we discovered striking patterns and a pronounced preference for specific colors. In addition to her design practice, Hedda opened a store in Wassenaar called 'A Place Called Plenty'. Although these two efforts coexist, they share a family identity, characterized by the same font, Piloti.

‘I worked with Studio& on the branding of my interior design studio and it has been an efficient and very easy process. Mariëlle & Cathelijn are creative, they push the brief just enough, are considerate of feedback and have turned around the deliverables in the agreed time. I look forward to working with them again!’
Hedda Pier, interior designer
To reflect the artisanal dedication and sophistication inherent in Hedda Pier her creations, we chose the Piloti font. This light sans serif, with refined details inspired by letter shapes carved from stone, exudes both craftsmanship and modernity.
In addition to her interior design practice and atelier, Hedda Pier also opened a store. Located in Wassenaar, the shop is called 'A Place Called Plenty'. She primarily sells curated vintage objects there. We have designed window graphics for this store. We aimed for something beyond conventional lettering—bold and playful.
