Amsterdam House

I love drawing Amsterdam houses. Nothing is straight and there’s so much detail in the architecture. Since almost no two buildings are alike, each has its own individual character. This illustration was commissioned by a couple to commemorate their new abode near Amsterdam’s Vondelpark, and features their son’s favourite teddy bear in the window. The original A3 drawing was translated to postcard size, which served as a change-of-address card to be sent to friends and family.
